Data Transmission mode
Data transmission mean Data transfer.
There are 3 modes of data transmission.
1. Simplex.
2. Half duplex.
3. Full duplex.
Simplex Mode:
In this type of transmission mode data can be sent only through one direction. We can not send a message back to the sender.
Half Duplex:
A half-duplex system provides communication in both directions, but only one direction at a time, not simultaneously in both directions. Typically, once a party begins receiving a signal, it must wait for the transmission to complete, before
replying. EX(Walkie-Talkie)
Full Duplex :
A full-duplex system allows communication in both directions, and, unlike half-duplex, allows this to happen simultaneously. Land-line telephone networks are fullduplex since they allow both callers to speak and be heard at the same time.
